“You know when a record needs room.”
Direction: Let the look move to a sound. Cut on the beat; let the outfit be the track.
Signature shot: The drop: something lands, a hand, a step, a sleeve, exactly on the beat.
PUNX PASSPORT // THE CASTING ROOM // ARCHIVE 001 IS CASTING
A lookbook made by the people in it.
PUNX ARCHIVE 001 is casting. Show us a look that feels like you. One file becomes the face of the campaign, and a permanent part of the PUNX world. Free to enter. Read for point of view, never followers.
TRANSMISSION // THE SIGNAL CALL open casting call
The world got small. We did not.
Entries: Oct 29, 12:00 am ET to Nov 11, 11:59 pm ET. 18+, US residents. Up to two looks each.
The Flattening wants everyone to look the same, post the same and scroll past each other. The Casting Room is the opposite: a lookbook made by the people in it. There is no ARCHIVE 001 without the people who fill it. Every look, every crew credit, every reference, every "welcome in" said to someone new becomes part of the record of real, specific people who refused to be made identical.
Only one look wins the shoot. But every person who walks in makes this bigger, and the people who show up first are the ones who decide what it becomes. That's you.
Your free Passport carries a cast number, in the order people arrived. Not a rank. Proof you were here early.
The person who held the camera or fixed your collar gets a Guest Pass and their name on the record.
Daily Studio Calls, instant creative sparks, crew calls to find a shooter or stylist. Optional, never judged.
This is an open house. Every body, budget, background and level of experience belongs here. Thrifted, borrowed, handmade and hand-me-down count exactly as much as grails. Outside the US or under 18? You can't enter this one, but you're welcome in the room.
Show your style, where you are (your city, room, street, mirror), and one detail worth noticing: a texture, a shoe, a garment, your hair, jewelry, posture, makeup, tailoring, a found object. Pick a starting point, or ignore them all:
The outfit you'd wear if people were seeing you for the first time.
A real-life look elevated by one intentional choice.
One garment, shoe, piece of jewelry, hairstyle, makeup detail, layer or texture.
A look shaped by where you're from or where you move through.
Something thrifted, altered, borrowed, handmade or meaningful.
A getting-ready, mirror, street-walk, arrival or movement video.
You never have to "dress like PUNX". PUNX documents real people's style.
At the end of the initiation, the archive gave you a role. In the Casting Room, it becomes your direction.
Every role is a way of seeing a look: a line to live by, a direction for your tape, and one signature shot to land. Use it, bend it, or ignore it completely. It's a starting point, never a rule, and the Reading Panel never scores it. Haven't been initiated? Take the 7 minutes and find out who you are in this world, or just pick the one that sounds like you.
“You know when a record needs room.”
Direction: Let the look move to a sound. Cut on the beat; let the outfit be the track.
Signature shot: The drop: something lands, a hand, a step, a sleeve, exactly on the beat.
“You turn fragments into identity.”
Direction: Show the look before it’s a look. The pile, the pin, the choice.
Signature shot: The last piece goes on, and suddenly it’s a person.
“You keep the city moving.”
Direction: Never stand still. One take, one walk, the look in motion.
Signature shot: The pass: you walk past the camera, not to it.
“You know your city has a memory.”
Direction: Put the look where it belongs: the block, the bus stop, the corner store that’s been there forever.
Signature shot: The sign: somewhere in the frame, a word only your city would know.
“You don’t let the important parts disappear.”
Direction: Build the look around something with history. Whose was it? Where has it been?
Signature shot: The hands: close on the piece, held like it matters, because it does.
“You connect people to what matters.”
Direction: Make it with someone. Shoot your crew, swap a piece, pass the camera.
Signature shot: The handoff: the frame goes from you to them.
The Flattening erases people one identical post at a time. The Restoration puts one back, and this time it's permanent.
Most prizes end when the shoot wraps. This one makes you part of the story.
A paid PUNX editorial with a real crew, styled around your look. You walk away with 10–15 edited photographs and a vertical campaign film, yours to use with credit. The kind of work most people wait years to have in their portfolio.
Your look gets its own room at the end of the PUNX initiation. Every person who walks through punxarmy.com, tonight and years from now, finishes the journey at your file. Then the Archivist writes you into the lore as an official Transmission, a chapter of the PUNX story with your name on it.
Your look is rebuilt, piece by piece, as a character in the PUNX universe: modeled in 3D in the same world as the film, and walking through a future chapter or campaign visual. Your face stays yours; it's your look that becomes legend, unless you want to be fully in it.
The PUNX PASSPORT // FOUNDING FILE, numbered 001 and the only one that will ever exist, plus Tape 001 when it's released, and a feature across PUNX Instagram, Discord and punxarmy.com.
The face of Archive 001 doesn't just get photographed. They get kept.
Three readers, one PUNX lead and two independent fashion creatives, read every eligible file against the same rubric. They read files, not follower counts.
| Criterion | Weight |

| Personal point of view | 35% |

Nobody makes a look alone. Name one person who helped make yours possible: the photographer, stylist, makeup or hair artist, designer, the friend who held the phone. They get a Guest Pass into the Casting Room with their name on it, and when they walk in you both get a Passport stamp. It's the simplest way to say "you mattered to this" in public.
Crew Credit is a community-recognition feature. It does not affect judging, does not add entries, does not increase your chances of winning, and does not require a purchase.
SIGNAL RECEIVED
File is in the archive. You just added a page to ARCHIVE 001, and it is better for it. The Reading Panel reads every file after Nov 11; recalls go out Nov 13. Keep your post up and unedited until the Founding File is announced on Nov 14.
Your Passport is not a follow. It is a record that you were here, and your look is part of ARCHIVE 001 now.
Here's a Story card for . Download it, post it, and put the link in a link sticker, or send it by DM.
Recognition only. It doesn't affect judging, add entries or require a purchase.
The door's open and there's a seat with your name on it. Post your casting file, welcome the people arriving after you, find a shooter or stylist for a second look, answer the daily Studio Call. The Archivist is in there too, with strong opinions about lint. Optional, and never judged, but this is where the cast becomes a community.
